iRely and PeopleNet Announce Joint Development Partnership

November 1, 2011 Fort Wayne, IN - iRely and PeopleNet® today announced that they have partnered together to offer a complete fleet solution for petroleum distributors involved in metered fueling. PeopleNet is a leading provider of integrated onboard computing and mobile communications systems for fleet management. Energy Trac supplies drivers with customer billing, pricing, tax, credit, and tank information in-truck and removes additional data entry steps in the billing process.

By offering Energy Trac, iRely’s in-truck billing solution with the PeopleNet TABLET®, the industry is now able to leverage new technologies that have emerged as a result of this partnership. Such technologies include route optimization, turn-by-turn directions to tank destinations, geo-fencing (using GPS to display automatically the correct customer upon arrival for accurate delivery and billing), improved dispatching through real-time truck-to-home-office communication, and onsite signature capture. In addition, PeopleNet TABLET features a camera, barcode scanner, signature capture, and print functionality to further enhance driver efficiency.
